The direction of this video focuses heavily on the type on the screen. It's a delicate dance between kinetic type and simple shapes. The animation characterises the words as they appear. Simple shapes are used as threads to connect the words or messages together more cohesively, taking the viewer on a journey.
The first section is all about “Me”, the individual. It’s their individuality that we’re visualizing at the start. As the animation progresses, we see the Twitter brand slowly become more apparent, as the individuals become a part of the company.
